Grieving
Darkness surrounds her
Sorrow consumed her
Grief was her blanket
Misery was plain to see
Searching for answers to questions that tortured her
Her mind was her battlefield
Every thought became a discovery
Breaking apart the mysteries
Finding the line to self-discovery
Emotions running rapidly
Never felt love
Unless forced upon
Started when she was so young
Life’s triggers sent her back in time
Too young to decide
Silent screams from the inside
Unfolding the truth from virtual reality
Became a helmet of sexual impurity
Every word whispered to her soul
Pretending not to care is how she stays alive
Late-night tears bring on more fears
Torn apart from empty promises
